Terms of use

Last changed on 11 October 2026.

These are the terms for using Kaltov. They are short, and they describe the product as it is today.

What Kaltov is

Kaltov is an AI tutor for school math. A student works a problem line by line on a board. A step checker marks each line, and the tutor's help is a question.

Two sentences describe how the product is built. A step checker, which is a set of rules, marks the math, and AI does not. The tutor's help stops short of the answer. They describe the product. They are not a promise about any one line, hint or lesson.

Accounts and who may use Kaltov

  • A principal or a teacher signs in with a link sent by email, and uses Kaltov for their own school.
  • A parent signs in the same way and opens a household for their own children.
  • A child does not open an account. The school or the parent adds the child, and the child enters with a class code and a 4-digit PIN.
  • Add only students of your own school, or your own children.
  • Keep the class code, the PINs and the printed cards with the people they are for.

Payment and refunds

  • The price is shown after you sign in, before you pay. Stripe takes the payment.
  • Kaltov charges in shekels. A price on screen may be your local currency at the same shekel value.
  • A school can pay for a pilot of fixed length. After it, a school pays by the month, by the student who worked, or for a year ahead. A student who worked is one who saved a checked step that month, not a name on the roster.
  • A school that moves to a continuing plan within 14 days of the end of its pilot has the pilot fee credited once, against one invoice. The credit is never more than that invoice, and what is left is not carried on.
  • A household pays by the month, for up to four children.
  • When the billing page offers a pause, collection stops until a date you choose, at most three months away. The price stays the same and the board still opens.
  • You can cancel from the billing page. The subscription then runs to the end of the period, and you can keep it until that day.
  • A household that set the milestone date, added a child and published the launch lesson, and still has no checked step on the board seven days later, can refund its first month from the billing page. For a household that began from a math check, the seven days run from the first payment.
  • That is the only refund the product gives by itself. For any other payment question, write to the contact address.

Acceptable use

  • Use Kaltov to teach and to practise.
  • Do not enter as someone else, share a sign-in, or try to reach another school's or household's data.
  • Do not try to break, overload or copy the service.
  • Do not write anything unlawful, abusive or harmful in a note or a message.
  • Kaltov may close an account that does any of these.

Availability

Kaltov works to keep the service running. It does not guarantee that the service is always available or free of error. A hint, a mark or a report can be wrong or late.

The parent math check names skills. It is not a test, a diagnosis or a placement.

A teacher or a parent stays the one who decides about a child's learning.

Ending an account

You can delete your account from Settings. The privacy notice says what the delete removes and what it does not reach.
